Estate and Medicaid Planning: 
We work with you and your family to preserve, protect and transfer the valued assets you have acquired.  This is accomplished through use of Wills and Trusts, as well as careful coordinating of asset ownership and beneficiary designations.  We provide professional and compassionate planning to help you maximize tax considerations, and utilize existing state and federal laws to accomplish your planning goals.  We urge you to consider how you and your family will deal with elder care issues, including the possible cost of nursing home or in-home care of a loved one.  A Medicaid Trust may be a planning tool you want to consider.  It will allow you to retain income as well as use and control of assets, including your home, while at the same time protecting those assets from the cost of nursing home care.  It also will avoid probate, thereby reducing the time and cost to transfer those assets to your intended beneficiaries.

Estate Administration:   
We work with your surviving family and beneficiaries to transfer the valued assets you have acquired during your lifetime.  These services may include the probate of a Will, termination of a Trust, and transfers to surviving joint owners or to named beneficiaries.  We will guide your family and beneficiaries through the income, estate and gift tax issues which occur at death, and we will facilitate the re-titling of assets.  If claims or disputes arise, we are prepared to litigate those issues in Court, including Will contents, construction proceedings or contested accountings.  Professional and compassionate representation is essential at a complex and emotional time for your family. 

Corporate and Business Law:
