Mr. Miller is the managing partner of the Herzog Law Firm and
focuses his practice in all areas of Elder Law. Harry’s extensive
knowledge of estate planning techniques enables him to customize
Trusts and other estate planning documents to meet the unique needs
of all clients.
Harry’s practice has narrowed some from when he first started
practicing law; however, he has a substantial background in
corporate matters, which is invaluable when advising clients on
their business succession needs.
Harry is a frequent lecturer on Estate and Medicaid Planning, giving
seminars semi-monthly in Albany, Saratoga, and Kingston.

Mr. Reilly has a broad base of experience with his primary practice
being Corporate Law and Litigation. Jim has represented clients in
corporate disputes, business acquisition matters, and employment
contract negotiation, among many other matters.
Jim has extensive trial experience, trying cases in both state and
federal courts in New York. In addition to the firm’s corporate
clients, Jim focuses a portion of his practice on estate litigation
matters including, but not limited to: Will Contests, Construction
Proceedings, and Judicial Accountings.

Ms. Verni has been associated with the Herzog Law Firm since 2004 and
became partner in 2008. Debbie is an Elder Law attorney that focuses her
practice in all areas of Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Estate Tax
planning, and Estate Administration.
Debbie’s ability to explain complex matters in simple terms is one of
her greatest strengths. She is a frequent lecturer on Estate and
Medicaid Planning issues, including semi-monthly seminars, and
Continuing Education classes for the Saratoga School District.
Debbie primarily practices out of the Albany and Saratoga offices.

Mr. Buckley concentrates his practice in the areas of Estate Administration, Estate Planning and Real Estate. Ms. Verner joined the Herzog Law Firm as an attorney in February
2013. Her practice areas include elder law, special needs planning,
estate and tax planning, estate administration and real estate.
With 15 years of legal experience, Kim previously worked as an
attorney with private law firms in the Capital Region, along with
clerking at both the Counsel’s Office for the New York State Office
for People with Developmental Disabilities and with the South
Royalton Legal Clinic in Vermont.
Ms. Verner currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Living
Resources Certified Home Health Agency and the Capital District
Center for Independence. She previously served on the Board of
Directors for the Aim High Down Syndrome Resource Center.
Kim received her J.D. from Vermont Law School in 1998. She received
her B.A. from the University of Albany where she completed a degree
in music and minored in mathematics.

Mr. Roland joined the Herzog Law Firm as of-counsel in January 2006. He
concentrates his practice in the areas of Telecommunications Regulation
& Taxation; Public Utilities; Appellate Litigation; Administrative Law;
Corporate Transactions; and Real Estate.
Prior to joining the Herzog Law Firm, Mr. Roland was senior partner in
the Firm of Roland, Fogel, Koblenz and Petroccione. His experience
includes acting as Counsel for the New York State Senate Committees on
Public Utilities and Consumer Affairs; Associate Counsel for the New
York State Commission on Cable TV; and Staff Counsel for the New York
State Public Service Commission.
