Ms. Razzano joined the
Herzog Law Firm as a law clerk in 2013 and upon
admission to the Bar, became an associate
attorney in January 2015. She concentrates her
practice in the areas of Estate Planning,
Charitable Planning, Estate Administration, and
While in law school, Brittiny interned at Albany Law School’s Tax Clinic, where she counseled clients on issues related to tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service and the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Brittiny was the Project Director for Albany Law School’s Elder Law Project, where she coordinated and provided seminars, for seniors and their families, on topics including Health Care Proxies, Powers of Attorney, and Wills. She was also Lead Articles Editor for the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology.
Brittiny began her career as a financial planner, and uses her background in finance to provide a unique perspective to problem solving for complex estate administration and estate planning issues.
Brittiny graduated cum laude from Albany Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 2014, with honors concentrations in Business Law, Estate Planning, and Tax Law. She was inducted into the Justinian Society, an honorary legal society for students graduating with honors. She was awarded Pro Bono Honors for completing over 300 hours of pro bono legal service during law school. Brittiny was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers, for her participation in intra-scholastic and inter-scholastic moot court competitions, both regionally and nationally.
Brittiny graduated with a Master in Business Administration from Union Graduate College in 2011, and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society, where she ranked in the top 10% of her class. She graduated magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, from Bentley University in 2008 and was inducted into the Financial Management Association National Honor Society.
Brittiny is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Elder Law and Special Needs, Trusts and Estates, Business Law, Tax Law, and Young Lawyers sections and was recently appointed as a member of the Committee on Women in the Law, the Albany County Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association, and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association. Brittiny is also a member of the Albany Academy for Girls Alumnae Association.
