Phillip K. Vacchio

Phillip K. Vacchio joined Herzog Law Firm in 2023 as a Senior Associate. In 2025, he became one of the principal attorneys at the firm. Phillip provides comprehensive legal counsel to existing and new clients in areas related to Elder Law, including Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Guardianships.

Phillip was formerly a partner of a Long Island-based law firm, where he handled the same areas of law. He now brings his extensive experience to the Capital Region and North Country.

Phillip is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral and Social Sciences in 2009 and Hofstra University School of Law where he graduated cum laude. He was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Star list in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Phillip is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He is on the Board of Directors of LifePath, an Albany non-profit agency that provides a broad range of supportive services for our older community adults, including but not limited to meals-on-wheels, adult social day programs, social events, insurance counseling. Phillip also serves on the Board of Directors of The Wesley Community, a Saratoga Springs organization providing senior living and care services, including independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and adult day programs.

Phillip practices out of Herzog’s Albany, Queensbury and Saratoga Springs offices.
